Hello,

This is a blog dedicated to the memory of Linda Ann Lawson, who recently passed away at the age of 62.   As her two sisters, we are encouraging anyone who would like to share their memories of Linda to please do so.    We hope this helps, in some small way, to ease the grief all of us are feeling.

The last time we saw Linda was in 2006, when we got together to surprise our Dad on his 80th birthday by showing up unannounced at his home.    He was delighted to have all three of his daughters together at the same time, and we all enjoyed being together.    When it was time for Linda to head back to Denver, she was tickled by the fact that she would get to ride in a limo on the way to the airport.

Most of our memories of her come from when we were a lot younger, and I remember a time when she and a friend came by our house on horseback, and we could show her off to the neighborhood kids.   When she was studying art, she set up an easel in the basement and we could see the progress she made on her oil paintings.    I remember one abstract in particular which went on display at the local junior college, and she expressed some frustration at the fact that it had been hung upside down.

There are several memories of Linda that we will share in the coming days; for now, we welcome friends and family to contribute their thoughts to this page.
